I work on classical painting, to illustration, comics and animation. I use mostly acrylics and especially the basics, red, yellow and blue, mixing and using them to create my own shades. Being kind of a color blind myself, that’s a way for me to create the colors that I can actually see and feel. For Illustration I love the clear black and white contrast and the dynamics that come from it, sometimes mixing them with colors and painting techniques, from watercolours, pastels to acrylics and digital. “All painting is an accident. But it’s also not an accident, because one must select what part of the accident one chooses to preserve.” –Francis Bacon I love the human figures and their expressions, their postures and the spaces they’re in. All these are parts of a whole and work as an experience, a blend of aesthetics, emotions and situations. While still pursuing my passion for art through photography and filming, I realized that these different interests could merge into my art practice. So, I decided to attend art school to explore non-traditional forms of art beyond sculpture, painting, and ceramics. There, I developed my art practice in creating objects, sculptures, writing, filming, and performing. my students' work. I grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, then moved to San Francisco, California, where I graduated with a BFA in Animation – Visual Development/Character Design from the Academy of Art University.
